Umhlanga Funerals is a contemporary, upscale funeral home. We have two branches that are thoughtfully located in 12 Blackburn Road, Durban North and 282 Moses Kotane Road (Sparks Road), Overport to provide ease of access to the people of greater Durban.

We are a sister company to T.G. Govender & Son Funeral Directors - pioneers in the KZN funeral industry since 1960, and we follow in our counterpart's values of trust, honour, integrity and respect.

We serve ALL communities by providing dignified, elegant funerals that are befitting of the life lived. We believe in awarding a lost loved one the respect and honour that they deserve, regardless of who they were and where they were from, because everybody is entitled to dignity.

As Funeral Directors, we know that no two funerals are the same, therefore we encourage pre-arranging as a method of tailoring a service to each individual specification, thus ensuring peace of mind. We proudly offer our fully underwritten policy as means of covering the entire expense of a funeral and easing the heavy financial burden one is faced with when there is a passing of a loved one.
